Tin eye

I've been using the search facility at http://tineye.com today. It's free and finds your photos-wherever they may be.
In this case a Russian magazine and,(I think), one from Hungary-Ingatlan Magazine.

Gee-thanks guys, especially for the picture credit. So nice of you to use my photos without permission or payment.

UPDATE-8th November, 2008............

FEEDBACK-The message is sent!

I've used the rustrans.com translation site to enable me to send an online form to Fotamota, the russian website.
Lets see if they respond to my complaint about their copyright theft.

Update-12th Nov '08

Just got this e-mail back....Album Deleted. Well, another victory against copyright theft. Now to try out my Hungarian.....

UPDATE.....27th November. Thanks to some help from Hungarian photographer Gyula Sopronyi, my photos have now been removed from the Ingatlan Magazine site and an apology given for their unauthorised use.

How do you deal with that?
(Gin?)
What can you/do you do when your images are there but the balance is not?

Er, dunno is the straight answer to your question Nick!

I don't speak hungarian or russian so that's not a good start.

I'm thinking it might be more trouble than it's worth to try and get these assholes to pay for their illegal use of my work. Which is, of course, exactly what they are relying on.

Don't you just love the way the russian website has stuck their own copyright notice underneath mine!
