Medicine cabinet

This is from one of the more wierd Sunday Telegraph jobs which I have photographed in the last fortnight.
Spot the difference-on the left is Damien Hirst's 'Locanda Locatelli' art which sold for £350,000 at a Christie's auction in London . On the right is the attempt to make a very similar item by reporter Adam Lusher and yours truly.
Ours fetched a whole pound when The Sunday Telegraph auctioned it on e-bay.
Now that's what I call an absolute bargain. It was snapped up by a London Barrister who is planning to display it in his bathroom.
Plumline Bespoke Joinery in Nottingham made the cabinet in three hours while we waited-at a cost of around £200 if you include the labour. Pharmaceuticals cost a further £290.98, so it really was a bargain-even though I had to chuck the epsom salts away together with some of the aspirin. That was so that the pots could be hacksawed to fit into the space available on the shelves!
Apparently word has got back to Damien Hirst's office and they are very amused by the whole thing-well, I suppose imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Amused and relieved I'd imagine. Where would the art world be if just anyone could sell a medicine cabinet for 35o big ones?
